A lot of people are speculating that the production of the new model of Tesla cars is going to be launched in late 2021. A lot of Model S and X owners who have ordered cars from the brand so far are looking forward to the arrival of the new model in this year or the following year. There is much speculation as to what will be the new look of the company’s trademark electric car. For example, some speculations suggest that the company will launch an all-electric vehicle (EV) with a resemblance to the Model S and X and also a small sedan. However, there are others who believe that the brand will introduce two models of small SUVs, one called the’Parkway’ and another one named the ‘Gentleman.
It is believed that the Model X is the more important model as it will be the big ticket item for the brand and will be a revolution in terms of design and technology. However, there are speculations as to whether the Model 3, which is scheduled to come up after the introduction of the Model X, is going to be based on the same architecture as the Model X or it will be a completely new model. The introduction of the Model 3 is supposed to be a big moment for the company, especially if it is able to successfully sell millions of units in its first full year of production. The last two models of the Model S and X saw a huge surge in sales, but then the sales tape turned around and the sales prospects for the electric vehicle got affected and there is much doubt regarding whether the company will be able to continue generating the same level of sales for the next several years.
It is expected that the introduction of the third model will introduce a completely new market segment for electric cars. However, it is not clear as to what extent the brand is planning to take over the SUV market with its new vehicle. If there is going to be a change in the fundamental architecture of the vehicle, it would mean that the Model S and X will have a completely different architecture. However, there is no clarity as to whether the Model 3 will adopt the same scalable design of the Model X or will offer a different vehicle model altogether. Right now, there is a possibility that the electric vehicle maker is planning to release three models in the coming years.
If the rumors are to be believed, then we can expect three new models in the coming years – a sedan, amid size car and a luxury saloon. The long range, medium size and compact models will join the Model S and X in the premium segment in order to offer more compelling product line. That will include the all-electric long range product line which will come with a battery pack optimized for heavy duty use and high speed performance. We can also look forward to a new model in the niche for the sporty crowd which will share the same body style and performance features as the Model S and X.
The new product line will be called the Tesla Elevated Autopilot. This will be the first product in the series to be able to drive itself on roads without any driver intervention. According to the company, the feature will work by using a combination of traditional auto driving controls and the new Teslarati Vision Motorized Virtual Cockpit. This technology combines the benefits of both systems including hands free operation and fully self-driving functionality.
The starting price of this new product line is still unknown and some believe it will be priced at the higher end of the market. If the rumors are to be believed, the standard range plus and standard range with a full self-driving upgrade will be priced at $70 thousand and up. A base model with a standard battery and full autonomous functionality will set you back about three-hundred dollars. No word yet on whether the feature will be available on the Signature Series and other models.
Musk has stressed that the goal for the company is to build a team of experts who are experts at building electric cars and then to deliver the products at the highest standards. This product line will be the first step in fulfilling this goal and it will certainly be interesting to see how well it sells and how well it holds its own against its competitors. Model S and X both offer comparable levels of performance and in some areas they perform better. It will be interesting to see which of these two top speed electric cars comes out on top in terms of sales and revenue.
Model S is the company’s most successful vehicle and it also offers the best overall package as far as price and specs go. It can reach speeds of over sixty miles per hour and it has all the features and equipment you would look for in an electric vehicle. Model X is a smaller version of the larger sedan and it will offer a more affordable option for those who want something a little smaller. In terms of range, both offer around seven hundred and fifty miles of range and there are rumors that the long range Plus version could eventually replace the standard version. Model 3 is the granddaddy of the electric vehicles and it will most likely be the vehicle of choice among fans of the Model S and X. It is not known whether the third model will be equipped with a Touch and Go navigation system, but we will have to wait and see.
